As part of the City of Media Arts network in Linz, we regularly invite people to get to know and discuss digital and creative industry trends as part of the WE ARE SO talk series.
The next talk will be in cooperation with the Stream Festival, which this year will be held purely as an online event. The talk will focus on the ever-present topic of „data“ – prepared in a festival-appropriate way with reference to music.
Many musicians have access to a wide variety of data. Be it through their social media accounts, their own websites, streaming platforms, or in the form of e-mail addresses of their fans. Nevertheless, for many musicians and artists, the concept of data is still an abstract, something that can be accessed, but is often not used properly.
- How can I, as a musician, take advantage of available data?
- How to use data effectively to reach and grow my audience?
- How can I incorporate insights into my marketing in a targeted way?
- And on which platforms do I have access to my data?
These questions and additional aspects will be addressed in this talk at this year’s Stream Festival.
